Hey guys! I am so glad you stopped by to get to know me and The Wilco Concierge. I am beyond excited to start blogging on a weekly basis showcasing everything The Wilco Concierge has to offer. I am constantly learning how to balance my family, work, and social life and am excited to have you along for the journey. If you love life hacks, traveling, yummy recipes, and fun, you’ll feel right at home here.
My name is Melissa Elrod and I was born and raised on eastern Long Island. Being the youngest of five kids and the only girl, I was forced to find my voice early on in life and know how to get things done.
Upon graduating high school in 2002, I traded in the salty Atlantic Ocean for the beautiful Smoky Mountains where I studied Business Administration at The University of Tennessee Knoxville and have been a proud Tennessean ever since. I met my husband, Brett, in 2004. Brett was born in Louisiana and moved to Franklin with his family when he was 12 years old. We moved to Williamson County in 2007 and just celebrated ten years of marriage a couple of weeks ago! We have two cute and spunky kids, Ellie (7) and Gunner (5), along with two dogs, Cristal (yes, like the champagne) and Miles. If I’m not working, you will likely find me spending time with my sweet family or my beloved friends. And if you wan’t to know what I’ll be drinking, it’s likely champagne or a dirty martini.
I have a passion for helping others and getting things taken care of. The concept of The Wilco Concierge started after realizing the amount of stress we put on ourselves to get it all done. We spend so much of our free time worrying and miss out on all the good in life. My services are designed to provide convenience in all facets of your daily life. I strive to anticipate your needs and be your extra set of hands. Serving my clients in a timely and efficient manner with an attention to detail is my top priority.
The Wilco Concierge is about mixing the laid back, coastal way of living with the charm that makes the south so great. I am a firm believer in living your best life - I want you to take the trip (I’ll plan it), eat the cake (I’ll order it for you), and buy the shoes (I’ll pick them up for you)!
Now that you know more about me, I want to know about you! Leave a comment telling me a little about yourself and what you would like to see on the blog.
